BOTANICAL WATERCOLOUR CLASSES
Julie will be in South Africa from September 2011 to March 2012 and will be attending a Master Class offered by internationally acknowledged botanical artist Vicki Thomas whose works appear in the Shirley Sherwood collection at Kew Gardens, London, England and who was also commissioned by Prince Charles to paint roses for his florilegia.
The next course offered will probably commence in May 2012.

Classes are usually five sessions of 3 hours each from 10.00 to 1.00 p.m. and will concentrate on the detail required for botanical drawing as well as watercolour technique.
Classes can be tailored to individual needs.
Julie has benefited from recent instruction by the internationally renowned Rosie Martin of the Eden Project, Cornwall, England. A selection of Julie's works will be included in the fourth book on Botanical Watercolour paintings to be published by Rosie Martin and Meriel Thurstan. The book is to be entitled "Exotics" and will be available in the spring of 2012.
